These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Shrimp mobile application ("Shrimp" or the "App") operated by Oleksandr Korzh ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using Shrimp, you agree to these Terms.
Shrimp is a posture awareness app that uses your device's camera and on-device machine learning to:
You must be at least 13 years old to use Shrimp. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
Shrimp does not require an account. All data is stored locally on your device.
Shrimp offers a free tier with limited daily usage (15 minutes per day) and premium subscriptions that unlock unlimited usage and additional features.
Auto-Renewal Terms: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Account Settings in the App Store after purchase.
If you start a free trial, you will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the price shown at the time of signup.
Pricing, billing periods, and available plans may change from time to time. The information shown in the App at the moment of purchase controls.
Purchases made through Apple are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled according to Apple's policies and must be submitted through Apple.
Important: Shrimp is not a medical device and has not been evaluated or approved by any regulatory authority for medical purposes.
Shrimp provides posture feedback based on computer vision and machine learning algorithms. You acknowledge and agree that:
You are responsible for setting up the App properly, including adequate lighting, appropriate camera placement, and accurate calibration of your "good posture" baseline.
Not Medical Advice: Shrimp is intended for general wellness and educational purposes only. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
You acknowledge and agree that:
Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by or through the App.
When using Shrimp, you agree to:

The App, its code, design, branding, sounds, mascot characters, and related materials belong to Oleksandr Korzh and are protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may stop using Shrimp at any time by uninstalling the App. All locally stored data will be deleted upon uninstallation.
Uninstalling the App does not cancel an active Apple subscription. Subscription management and cancellation must be done through your Apple Account Settings.
We may suspend or terminate access to Shrimp if you violate these Terms or if we need to comply with law.
SHRIMP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF POSTURE DETECTION OR ANY OTHER APP FUNCTIONALITY. YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO SHRIMP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US THROUGH THE APP DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM; OR (B) USD 50.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Oleksandr Korzh from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
If you download Shrimp from the Apple App Store, your use of the App is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple is not responsible for providing support or addressing claims relating to the App, except as required under applicable law and Apple's standard terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will post the updated version and change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
