This Privacy Policy explains how Oleksandr Korzh ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Shrimp mobile application ("Shrimp" or the "App").

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Camera Data

Shrimp uses your device's camera to detect body posture in real time. This camera data:

• Is processed entirely on your device using on-device machine learning
• Is never recorded, stored, or transmitted to any server
• Is used only while the App is actively running a posture session
• Cannot be accessed by us or any third party

1.2 Session Data (Stored Locally)

When you complete a posture session, the App stores the following data locally on your device:

• Session duration (how long you tracked posture)
• Number of posture alerts triggered
• Percentage of time with good posture
• Session timestamps

This data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to any server.

1.3 Calibration Data (Stored Locally)

When you calibrate the App, it stores:

• Reference posture landmarks (numerical coordinates, not images)
• Camera angle setting (frontal, side, or diagonal)
• Detection confidence thresholds

This data remains on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App.

1.4 Subscription Data

If you purchase a subscription, we use Adapty (a third-party subscription management service) to:

• Verify your subscription status
• Process subscription events (purchase, renewal, cancellation)
• Manage access to premium features

Adapty receives purchase-related data from Apple but does not receive any posture or camera data.

1.5 Technical Diagnostics

The App uses Google ML Kit for on-device pose detection. Google ML Kit may collect:

• Device identifiers (not linked to your identity)
• Performance and diagnostic metrics
• App interaction data for service improvement

This data is collected by Google for analytics purposes and is not used for cross-app tracking.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

Shrimp is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect:

• Images, video, or recordings from your camera
• Your name, email address, or account information (no accounts required)
• Precise location data
• Contacts, photos, or other personal files
• Advertising identifiers (IDFA) or cross-app tracking data
• Health data from Apple Health or other health platforms

We do not use any analytics services such as Firebase Analytics, Amplitude, or Mixpanel. We do not use crash reporting services that would collect diagnostic data about app crashes.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• Provide real-time posture detection and feedback
• Display your session statistics and history
• Manage your subscription status and premium features
• Improve pose detection accuracy through on-device machine learning

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Shrimp:

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

5. Data Storage and Security

5.1 Local Storage

All posture session data, calibration data, and statistics are stored locally on your device using secure storage mechanisms provided by iOS. This data is protected by your device's security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID).

5.2 No Cloud Storage

Shrimp does not have user accounts or cloud synchronization. Your posture data stays on your device and is not backed up to any external server.

5.3 Data Deletion

All locally stored data is automatically deleted when you uninstall the App. You can also reset the App's data through your device's Settings.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information:

For EU Users (GDPR)

• Right to access your data
• Right to rectification
• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
• Right to data portability
• Right to object to processing

For California Users (CCPA/CPRA)

• Right to know what personal information is collected
• Right to delete personal information
• Right to opt-out of sale or sharing (we do not sell or share data)
• Right to non-discrimination

7. Children

Shrimp is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

8. International Processing

Your information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live, depending on the location of our third-party service providers (Adapty, Google). These providers maintain appropriate data protection standards.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
