This Privacy Policy explains how Oleksandr Korzh ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Shrimp mobile application ("Shrimp" or the "App").
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.
Shrimp uses your device's camera to detect body posture in real time. This camera data:
Privacy by design: Your camera feed never leaves your device. We cannot see, access, or retrieve any images or video from your posture sessions.
When you complete a posture session, the App stores the following data locally on your device:
This data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to any server.
When you calibrate the App, it stores:
This data remains on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App.
If you purchase a subscription, we use Adapty (a third-party subscription management service) to:
Adapty receives purchase-related data from Apple but does not receive any posture or camera data.
The App uses Google ML Kit for on-device pose detection. Google ML Kit may collect:
This data is collected by Google for analytics purposes and is not used for cross-app tracking.
Shrimp is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect:
We do not use any analytics services such as Firebase Analytics, Amplitude, or Mixpanel. We do not use crash reporting services that would collect diagnostic data about app crashes.
We use the information described above to:
We use the following third-party services to operate Shrimp:
| Service | Data Involved | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Google ML Kit | On-device pose detection; diagnostic metrics sent to Google | Real-time posture analysis |
| Adapty | Subscription status, purchase events, anonymous app identifiers | Subscription management |
| Apple App Store | Payment and transaction data | In-app purchase processing |
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
All posture session data, calibration data, and statistics are stored locally on your device using secure storage mechanisms provided by iOS. This data is protected by your device's security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID).
Shrimp does not have user accounts or cloud synchronization. Your posture data stays on your device and is not backed up to any external server.
All locally stored data is automatically deleted when you uninstall the App. You can also reset the App's data through your device's Settings.
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information:
Because most data is stored locally on your device and we do not maintain user accounts, you can exercise most of these rights by simply uninstalling the App. For any additional requests, contact us at sashakorzh.mail@gmail.com.
Shrimp is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Your information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live, depending on the location of our third-party service providers (Adapty, Google). These providers maintain appropriate data protection standards.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
